Mental agility and pizzazz are probably the two characteristics a good Perudo Player cannot do without. Without intellectual awareness he/she could not keep tract or understand the situations presented during a game offline or in an online casino; without an interesting personality, the player would be completely neglected by his/her playmates and in return would not have any power of conviction over them.

Lacking one of the two would not prove so dramatic, for a lot can be achieved by just being ahead of other either technically or socially. But if the two are absent, the player would just be randomly playing pathless and without any sympathy from his/her piers, which will probably result in him/her being one of the first people to be out of the game.

A good Perudo player, like a good poker or online poker player, is that who has a clear sense of what is happening during the game both technically and emotionally. With a gift for psychological understanding and mathematical probabilities, the perfect Perudo player will put everyone in his pocket based on what he knows are good chances for winning. He/she would make appropriate comments and bluffs when needed, play passively or aggressively according to what is most favorable for him/her, make other players play to his/her advantage, and raise in a way that would extend or terminate the game depending on his chances of winning.

For a good Perudo player little matters what the cups conceal. What is truly fundamental for him/her is to put up an effective, assertive show that will make the rest of the table turn round and hand him/her the victory gracefully.
